I drew this whilst tucked away in a little B&B at 7000ft in the pine trees with my mom. I just felt like drawing, really. And since i was wise enough to bring my copy of the FullMetal Alchemist manga with me, I was able to draw the wonderfully adorable Ed Elric!! *Sighs, croons* Aaawww...
I used the opening page of the "Battle on the Train" chapter as a reference, and then it evolved into this. I guess the concept was, "Similar situation, different library."
