The sculpture version of my darling six-legged freak pony. Isn't he adorable? . . . No?
Sculpted in polymer clay over a tinfoil-and-wire armature, then painted in acrylics. Finished in late March. I think he's maybe 15 or 16 cm tall, but I'm not sure since my teacher still has him currently.
He's really cool! I was reminded of Sleipnir, the eight-legged horse of Norse Mythology, who carried Odin to battle (or the grocery store, or wherever it was gods went when they rode horses). Two more legs than this guy, but same idea, that extra legs = extra fast badass horse.
